Well, lookie here! Hyundai didn’t just show up for the 2026 Safety Awards, it filled out the entire bracket!

The NBA Playoffs are here so expect Basketball jokes. Sorry in advance.

Across Hyundai Motor Group, there were 16 total awards from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, including a stacked lineup of TOP SAFETY PICK+ winners for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis. With testing getting tougher every year, other automakers need to start taking notes!

But hey this is Holler Hyundai, so let’s talk about the Hyundai side of that Sweet 16!

This is a deep roster—SUVs, sedans, hybrids, EVs—all contributing with no benchwarmers for Hyundai’s playoff run.

The real MVP? Hyundai SmartSense is running point every drive with features like Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Keeping Assist, and Driver Attention Warning. Talk about reading the play before it develops.

And while Genesis and Kia helped round out the full 16-car bracket, Hyundai’s lineup is like watching some Showtime fast-break.

You don’t know who’s going to end up with the ball but you know it’s going to be exciting!

Hyundai really dropped this on April 1st and expected everyone to keep a straight face, but hey they swear it’s real so it’s safe to get excited!

Meet the new Hyundai Boulder Concept! A rugged, boxy, go-anywhere SUV that made its global debut at the New York International Auto Show. And no, this isn’t some playful sketch or intern that got wacky with concept art. This thing is very real!

Although yeah the timing was definitely funny. So what’s the deal?

The Boulder Concept is Hyundai’s first serious look at a body-on-frame platform.

And while the Boulder Concept may not hit production (boooooo), it is previewing a future midsize pickup coming by 2030!

I want this now. I don’t know if I can wait another four years.
