Kelley Blue Book just crowned New Family Royalty

Let’s face it: packing up the crew for a weekend trip to the coast (west coast all day everyday…by the way), surviving the morning school drop-off line, or loading up the latest grocery haul from Publix requires a vehicle that handles real-life chaos.

Well, the brainiacs at Kelley Blue Book just dropped their highly anticipated 2026 BEST Family Cars List, and would you look at that?

Hyundai absolutely dominated the field. Out of all the brands on the USA market, Hyundai took home a staggering 25% of the entire list’s Top Honors.

KBB evaluated every contender on safety, reliability, value, and real-world everyday usability. Here’s our three major highlights from the top honors list.

1. 2026 Hyundai Palisade (3-Row Midsize SUV)

2. 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe (3-Row Midsize SUV)

3. 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 5 (Compact SUV)

Well, what makes these standout? Oh I don’t know, have you even been INSIDE a ‘26 Palisade? That thing is a cavern with plenty of room for activities. Plus, the Santa Fe proves that you can be a literal box on wheels and still be a cool SUV.

And the IONIQ 5 is our EV darling. We talk about the IONIQ 5 often and with good reason. It’s surprisingly spacious inside, it features a retro-futuristic design, and now they’re compatible with Tesla Superchargers for rapid-fast charging.

Oh and hey - don’t forget that each of these Hyundai follow Next-Gen Safety standards!

Intuitive touchscreens, plenty of charging ports across the cabin, and ample space. That sounds like an absolute win for all families.

Racing for a great cause: Hope on Wheels!

If you’ve ever sat behind the wheel of a Hyundai N-Line or a full-blown Elantra N on your daily commute, you already know these cars have some serious attitude. But earlier this month, Hyundai Motor America took that street-level performance and turned it into an absolute clinic at Mid-Ohio!

The Mid-Ohio race was a total nail-biter from start to finish, showcasing exactly what the Elantra platform is capable of when pushed to the absolute limit.

All five Hyundai Elantra N TCR entries finished inside the Top 10, keeping Hyundai firmly in the lead for the ultimate 2026 IMSA Manufacturers’ Championship!

And while we didn’t quite snag P1, Hyundai did finish with a double podium for 2nd place and 3rd place. You love to see it!

Plus, even better, for the 3rd season in a row, the Hyundai Hope on Wheels Campaign has a brilliant rule where Hyundai corporate donates $100 for every single lap led by a Hyundai racecar during the 2026 season.

With just four races into the season, that’s a total of about $45,000 worth of donations already! There are six more races scheduled this year so tune in to see how much more Hyundai will donate.
