Hyundai Boosts EV Appeal: Cash Bonuses Offered to U.S. Buyers💲💰

Hyundai is providing cash bonuses of up to $15,000 for electric vehicle (EV) buyers in the U.S., aiming to stay competitive with automakers benefiting from tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act. The incentive is applicable to lease the Ioniq 5 2023 models and runs until Jan. 31.

Hyundai's EVs currently don't meet the criteria for the clean vehicle tax credit program, designed to boost domestic EV production. Despite lacking an operational EV factory in the U.S., Hyundai is constructing one in Georgia, expected to start assembly by late 2024.

In 2023, Hyundai and Kia sold 69,259 battery-powered vehicles in the U.S., making them the second-largest EV maker after Tesla. The move aligns with the goal of the U.S. to promote domestic industry and shift away from fossil fuels. Get your Holler Hyundai IONIQ 5 Today!

Hyundai Mobis Tech: The Verge Gets Up Close and Personal with Crab Walk Technology🦀🚙

Hyundai has been working up some magic inside of its Mobis program, last year it showed off a short video showcasing its e-Corner System or “Crab Walk” capabilities. This year it released an updated concept video that shows what is truly possible with some extra mobility in our tires.

This year the Verge was able to take a drive inside the custom IONIQ 5 with this tech, so they could judge for themselves if this was a fad or a wave of the future. They concluded that this would be the main reason to get an electric car for those who are not interested at this time. Hyundai is currently hopeful that this tech will become common practice in businesses by the end of the decade and then from there it would start to hit consumer vehicles. For the complete breakdown of their experience check out the Verge’s article here.
